Moody Studio Apartment Perfect for Downtime Reading and Relaxing

Another masterpiece from Cartelle Design, this 40.57-square meter studio apartment in Moscow was designed for a young lady who spends the better part of her downtime reading and relaxing.

The books storage integrated into the base of bespoke window perfectly radiates the homeowner’s love for reading.

The home’s dining space is large enough to accommodate a party of four comfortably. The dining set looks less intrusive on the space. You can credit that to the elegantly mismatched dining table-chair combination.

The dining area is adorned in a variety of art prints, stood at floor level. A linear suspension light adds visual interest to the space.

Lying directly opposite the dining table is the sleeping area. The area is clearly demarcated by use of bright color. The sunny yellow 4 poster bed makes the space look like a room within a room.

The yellow platform upon which the bed box sits has LED lighting all around it. Your eye can’t miss the pendant light in the sleeping area. The wall art is eye-catching as well.

Snuggled to the side of the bedroom platform is a tray table that complements the wood and black framed finishing of the nearby dining table.

Hanging chairs are a perfect addition to the compact space. A painted brick wall adds an industrial touch to the eccentric interior.

Surprisingly, this small studio apartment also has a dedicated home office area. A built-in desk occupies a nook between the living room-diner-bedroom area and the bathroom.

The desk chair design complements the dining chairs. This makes it possible to fluidly move the seats around the house as needed while being in-keeping with each area’s design.

In the modern home office, you can enjoy borrowed natural light that comes in through the window located in the headboard wall.

Recessed shelves by the work area help to uphold neatness and order in the apartment. The bathroom features a black toilet and matching vanity unit.

Away from the black and white elements, pink tiling in the shower enclosure adds some color to the bathroom. Black tiling and heated towel rail at the end of the shower enclosure add a unified feel to the two areas.

The closet opposite the home office can’t go unmentioned.
