Sunny Ravanbach, the founder of White Lilac, calls this 1,899 square feet, light-filled, dreamy space her home.
Located in Dana Point, California, the home is airy and boasts plenty of natural light. It exemplifies her design style – eclectic, relaxed, and beachy – and acts as a living showroom of her new shop’s look.
When it comes to decorating her home, Sunny draws inspiration from white, open spaces and beach-like comfort. The openness, the light, as well as the smell and sounds of the ocean creates a lovely airy aura in the home.
The found vintage mirror circa 1890 from France is Sunny’s favorite element in the home. The mirror is in its pristine condition and adds a touch of unexpected grandeur to the otherwise laidback beach cottage.
You can get all the trays, cake stands, and platters at Sunny’s retail site. She reveals that the vintage French mirror and the huge ABC Home and Carpet pink rug in the main bedroom are her biggest indulgence.
The guest bedroom features an Aria Queen Canopy Bed, which makes a great statement. The side tables are from Anthropologie. And the sketches in pencil and watercolor are the work of Jorunn Mulen.
