By the time you finish reading this article, you’ll have understood why the 2667-square foot home is called Serenity. The home is constructed on a cliff in Carmel, central California. Its exterior is a curved façade that mimics the aerodynamic beauty of a butterfly.

But you haven’t seen enough beauty until you step inside this architectural masterpiece. So, shall we have a tour of the inside?

The Interior

Stepping into the home, you’ll tell right away that the various elements were carefully chosen. It takes time to create such luxury. The luxurious elements include a Wassily Chair and other modern classic chairs.

The full-length glass wall provides a spectacular view of the beautiful Carmel coastline. Adding to the sedative and nearly Zen aura are the architecturally unique coffee table and the tiny succulents tucked into concrete planters.

The curved steel not only looks classy on the exterior but also delivers an exceptional effect on the interior areas. It gives the corridors and seating spaces a fascinating look.

The comfort is not limited to the living area only. It extends to other areas of the home, including the bedrooms and bathrooms. In one of the bedrooms, for instance, there’s a cozy Eames Lounge Chair for reading.

In the bedroom, your eye won’t miss the unique floor lamp illuminating the reading nook with its warm radiance.

The bathroom sports a beautiful soaking tub. This is another space in the home that offers a spectacular view. You’ll get the same experience in the kitchen. With the natural wood cabinetry kept low to the ground, you don’t have to worry about blocked sunlight or view.

The Outdoors

The surrounding nature serves as the main focal point for this home. Coupled with simple landscaping, the outdoors is a beauty to behold. The stormy ocean, healthy cypress trees, and beautiful sunsets are simply breathtaking.

If you are looking for an exceptionally unique home design for your small family, Serenity can be a great choice for you.
