A Heavenly Sanctuary in a Bali Jungle for Luxurious Evening of a Vacation

What first comes to your mind when you hear of a trip to Bali? Most travel enthusiasts would envision themselves enjoying a cool shade under one of the tall palms in the island’s sprawling white sandy beaches.

But that’s not where to go if you’re looking for real magical experience. You need to venture beyond the waters, and explore the Jungles of Bali. The Jungles are not only endowed with greenery and wildlife; they’re also home to some of the Island’s most opulent estates.

In this article, we explore one of the homes in those estates. Photos are courtesy of Daniel Koh. Let’s get to it.

Located just a short drive from the resort village of Canggu, the home features a clear infinity pool. It also boasts an outdoor bath and lots of indoor space. With that, you can’t expect anything less than a heavenly sanctuary for a luxurious evening of a vacation.

The surrounding vegetation creeps right up to the pool. You certainly will be fascinated by how the greenery dangles over the roof’s edge. The house has five bedrooms, all of which deliver an impressive view of the jungle.

Can we now go in and explore the house’ inside luxury?

Most surfaces in the house feature natural wood. There’s no better way to create natural warmth and comfort for a perfect evening.

When going outside, you’ll notice how perfectly the steps blend with the landscape. That’s a brilliant way to add a special feel to the home. Besides the use of natural materials, the house also sports tasteful décor.

The décor includes low slung chairs, rustic coffee tables, and mirrors. The mirrors are placed so strategically that they reflect the jungle vegetation directly into the main living area.

In fact, virtually every corner of the home provides a striking view of the outdoor scenery. But you still haven’t seen enough beauty until you see the garden. So, shall we go there?

If you view the home from some angles, it looks like a part of the mountain. Away from the garden, other remarkable features in the house include the following:

  • Contemporary furniture pieces that contrast with more rustic pieces. Take a look at this fascinating floor lamp and the day bed cover right below it.
  • A tranquil bedroom surrounded by warm wood.
  • A striking stone sink and light fixture
  • A tastefully constructed kitchen counter

You also can’t fail to notice the patterned wall that adds an artistic feel to the home’s natural beauty. So next time you travel to Bali, don’t just play at the beach. Venture into one of the jungle retreats and get a truly magical experience.
