This 1200-square foot apartment in The Beaches, Toronto, Canada is the home of Tiffany Pratty, a designer, author, and HGTV host.
Tiffany has been renting the apartment for eight years, but recently decided to give it a vibrant and cheerful facelift. Christened The Glitter Suite, the home radiates Tiffany’s affinity for color.
Let’s walk in and explore the beauty within.
She had the fireplace custom made in a pink marble. And she is invested in the two-shade double lamp, a vintage Turn of the Century Lighting piece, for its irresistible charm.
The living room is divided into a casual seating space and an office workstation. Overhead shelving and custom cabinets help to keep the home neat and organized.
The hanging chair looks great in the space. It is the Daydream by Home Fusion. The chair cushion fabric is the Tiffany by Tonic Living.
There is a seamless connection between the living room and the dining room, which also normally serves as an extended workspace. White hardwood floors give the home a bright base.
The yellow vase was bought from a shop owner in Chinatown.
The bathroom walls feature Dreamlike wallpaper from Favor Paper, which adds life to the space. Classic white tiling in the shower creates a perfect contrast with the patterned floor tiling from Mettro Source.
A BESTA BURS desk has been used to create an informal desk area in the hallway space, which would otherwise be empty. The vintage mirror is from Morocco.
The bedroom features a tie-dyed duvet cover and pillowcases, all of which are DIY projects. Your eye can’t miss the art above the bed. It is a Matchbox: Il Cavaliere.
Would you believe Tiffany’s clothes have a whole room to themselves? And the maximalist wardrobe does not even provide enough storage space. Tiffany also keeps some of the art sent by her fans over the years in this room.
The kitchen features a checkered floor tile, which creates a contrasting feel with the white wood flooring in other areas of the home. The tile also adds a touch of sophistication to the space.
Inspired by the rainbow, Tiffany repurposed the hallway runner into a stair runner.
